A variety of student leaders and medical professionals took to the stage Last Friday night at to tell why Timmy Global Health is making a difference both abroad and in the Indianapolis community. A packed room of supporters and volunteers gathered in the Conrad Hotel downtown in an annual gala highlighting the efforts of the organization and it’s prominent members.

Timmy Global Health, formally known as the Timmy Foundation, works with college chapters and local medical professionals to coordinate regular medical mission trips to impoverished communities around the globe. Its headquarters is in Indianapolis serves as a hub for medications and supplies supporting the trips. To keep its efforts going strong, local volunteers contribute their time to maintain supplies, work with student chapters around the country, and help prepare groups for the next trip.

Towards the end of the event, the organization asked those in attendance to help reach an anniversary donation goal of $15,000 before the night ended. After approximately 10 minutes, the organization had exceeded the goal.
